Privacy policy
What we collect when you use Lucenos, why, and who else handles it.
Who we are
Lucenos is an invite-only service that gives affiliate links for online stores and pays out the commissions they earn. This policy explains what data we collect when you use it and what we do with that data.
The service is run by [Company legal name], [Registered address]. We refer to it as Lucenos or “we”.
What we collect
- Account data. Your email address and, if you give it to us, your name. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider, not stored by us.
- Links you create. The product URLs you paste, the Lucenos links we generate and their settings.
- Click and order statistics. Clicks on your links, and the orders and commissions that retailers report back to us for those links.
- Payout data. Your payout preferences, withdrawal history and balance. [Describe payout and tax details collected once payouts go live.]
- Technical data. Basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and request time, kept for security and debugging.
- Usage data. On the public site, anonymous page views. Inside the dashboard, the pages you open, the buttons you click and recordings of your sessions, tied to your account ID but not to your name or email address. Form fields, numbers and email addresses are masked in those recordings, and balances, payout details and API keys are left out.
- Error reports. When the app breaks, a report with the error, the page address without its query string, your browser and device type, and your account ID when you are signed in. We configure it not to send your email address or cookies.
Before you are invited, if you write to apply@lucenos.io, we keep that email and the profiles and results you send so we can review your application.
How we use it
- To run your account: sign you in, create links, show your stats and calculate your balance.
- To pay you and to keep records we need for payments and taxes.
- To send emails about your account and the notifications you turn on.
- To protect the service from abuse and to fix problems, including the error reports above.
- To see which parts of the dashboard are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve it.
- To decide on applications.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers that handle data on our behalf:
- Clerk provides sign-in, email verification and session management. It receives your email address, your password and technical sign-in data.
- PostHog (EU cloud) provides product analytics and the session recordings inside the dashboard. It receives the usage data above. Requests reach it through our own servers, so it sees our server’s address, not yours.
- Sentry (EU data region) receives the error reports above.
- Our hosting provider runs the servers and the database that hold your account data. [Hosting provider and region]
- Retailers and affiliate networks report orders and commissions for links you share. Visitors who click your links are subject to the retailer’s own privacy policy.
We may share data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. After it is closed we delete it, except for records we must keep for payments, taxes or disputes. [Retention periods]
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to close your account. Email apply@lucenos.io from the address on your account and we will reply. [Add rights and complaint authority that apply under the governing law.]
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will update the date at the top and email account holders. Questions go to apply@lucenos.io.
